Sun, Girls, Beer and Cricket

Choices...

Choices are what Life is all about. A good choice can lead to many positive things while a bad choice can lead to not so positive things… I have had lots of choices in front of me…. Jobs, Girls, Uni and Friends. All I can say is I hope I’m making the right choice in all of this.

Jobs… Lots of things going on! I have my job at Spring Brothers which I enjoy immensely! I start officially on the 5th of June and all I know is…. I love that pub :) I also applied for the CDL Summer school as a counsellor… still waiting to hear on that, but I’m sure it’ll be good news.

Girls… now this is where life is going to get difficult. One guy… Three Girls… I swear my Goatee is a chick magnet. The girl I like is confused, the girl who likes me I have no interest in and the girl I’ll be working with keeps making a pass at me… and after dating Heather do I really want to get into a confused girls life… I’m just want to be happy and be with someone who likes me for me.

Uni… oh boy I don’t know how to go about this one so I’ll just be blunt. I’m moving University. Quest is great, and there are so many positive aspects… just now I feel is the right time to leave. I’m looking at doing Sports Journalism at the University of Arts London. I think this is the right choice as does my mum and family… here’s hoping it is the right choice.

Friends… Well this is something that's weird. Friends seems to be changing lots and lots, and I’m just hoping I’m doing the right thing… cutting off the friends that haven't been there for me and so on…

Wow, lots of news I guess… guess to wrap it up I should post a song I have been listening to lots and lots, its a dance remix so please enjoy :)

The power of love or of an AC motor....

So I know it's been a while since I have updated and I'm sorry about that... but now I have time, so here's whats been going on:
Got a job at my local pub :)
Canucks got knocked out of the Playoffs
I've been meeting new friends
I've been a helper when times have been bad...
and
I've been thinking about love

So no change there (especially about the Canucks...) but the love thing has really taken a new shape... or more to that point, the thinking about love has really taken a new shape. I've dated... 3 girls now (oh boy... thats high :P ) and I cant help but notice that in 2 out of three of those, there was one for of travelle used alot... Trains.

Trains took me to see Jo for the first time, and took me all those many times to see Tally.... I have had so many nice memories... the Train from Stockport to Oxford was a Virgin Trains X-Country train and this new advert from them, really pulled on the heart strings...

Funny thing was when the advert came on the TV, me and mum both sighed.... She too once had a boyfriend in london while she lived in manchester... its funny how kids take after the parents eh?

Anyway, its 8:24pm and I think its time for me to go make dinner!

Labor Of Love....

So life has been on the go slow side of things recently.... NOT. Life has in fact not given me chance to breath, so much so that I feel the strain against me...

Things with heather are no good... and the situation has been making me rather ill. Then there have been a few other problems but the root cause is Heather.... I guess this is when really I should let go of the cracks in the foundations... and see if we're still strong.

My block with Glen has been going well.. its the final few days and then a nice long rest before my next block. I have no idea what I'll be doing so I have a feeling I need to think about this long and hard....

Till then I leave you with a song from the upcoming Star Trek film...

...DAIRY!!!!

So todays class has been amazing.
Glen... Glen is by far one for the best tutors or teachers I have had or will ever have! We have been doing a little bit of a side tangent and have been discussing Astronomy which is really trigonometry which is maths so not really a big tangent but a lot of fun none the less!

So my final project is coming along nicely... actually really nicely... I still can't believe the MOD are sending me the files I need about the bouncing bomb... got to love the ATC and what it can do for you!!! The files are the original drawings of the bouncing bomb and what Barnes Wallis had envisioned would happen....

So the Canucks are 3-0 up in a best of 7 series.... Conference Semi-Finals here we come!!! The Play-off beard I'm growing is really starting to itch the heck out of me but it'll be worth it when we lift the cup this year... Believe in Blue, Believe in out Canucks!!!

Here's a nice little song I have been listening to non-stop recently... its just so much fun!!!

This could be Legen....

So life atm is going not to bad... I have lots of work for Glens class but I'm keeping my head above water which is nice :) I'm trying my hardest to get a straight 100% so lets see... and hope ;)

The Canucks have been doing REALLY well recently, winning the first two games of the playoffs :) here's hoping they can go on to win the Stanley... as always believe in blue, believe in our Canucks :D

Things with me and heather, well are still just silly.... I think this is going to take a while to get solved... but anyway!!

yesterday we had preview day, and that was fun!! many interesting students and I can't wait to see them all here next year!!!

ok off for the all day breakfast! see you guys later!

A city upon a hil...

Yesterday I had a rather interesting experience and I was hopping you guys wouldn't mind me talking to you about it.

Yesterday, as part of a class field trip we set off to Simon Frasier University (which is named after heather's great great great grandfather (I might need an extra great in there)) to do some research at there amazing Library which Quest has a partnership with. While there... I felt like an ant in a concrete prison. It was so huge and vast with so many different faces... felt like I was in another city/world... I was glad to step back onto Quest campus at the end of it :)

The class is going well, and my project on the bouncing bomb is progressing nicely... I can't wait to be able to place it on here for you guys to read :D Glen has been so much for, I can't believe how lucky I am to have him for next block as well!!!

Right now back to reading about how many revolutions per minuet would be needed...

Till then..
Today is playoff game 1.. Believe in Blue... Believe in our Canucks....
